Les agences humanitaires commencent les transports aériens à l'est

La représentation à Goma du Bureau de l'ONU de coordination des affaires humanitaires (BCAH/OCHA) a commencé mardi le transport du ravitaillement par hélicoptère entre Goma et Walikale, où les habitants ont été déplacés par les attaques menées le 30 septembre par les rebelles hutus rwandais de l'Interahamwe et par les milices maï-maï congolaises. Une source proche de l'ONU à Goma a indiqué que parmi les produits transportés, il y a du matériel de construction de l'ONG internationale Save the Children, destiné à la réparation de l'Hôpital général de Walikale ; des fournitures scolaires de l'UNICEF ; ainsi que des semences et des outils de l'Organisation pour l'alimentation et l'agriculture (FAO).
