La Croix Rouge assiste les nécessiteux à Kenema

Des bénévoles de la Croix Rouge ont commencé la distribution d'articles non alimentaires à des groupes, à des institutions et à des organisations à Kenema, une localité du sud-est, avait rapporté lundi l'agence de presse officielle SLENA.

Le responsable des secours de la Croix Rouge, Constant Kargbo a indiqué que l'assistance était fournie avec l'appui du Comité International de la Croix Rouge (CICR) pour permettre aux groupes et aux institutions viables de s'occuper d'eux-mêmes. Il a précisé que la Croix Rouge avait aidé 6 528 personnes en juillet, et 2 463 en août, en distribuant des couvertures, des matelas, des bâches en plastique, des seaux, des ustensiles de cuisine et des vêtements d'occasion.
