Le nouveau chef de la MONUC se familiarise avec sa mission

    NAIROBI
    Parallèlement, le nouveau chef de la mission de l'ONU en RDC (MONUC), Amos Namanga Ngongi, a entamé lundi une série de réunions dans le quartier général de l'ONU à New York afin de se familiariser avec ses responsabilités, a déclaré lundi un porte-parole de l'ONU à des journalistes. M. Ngongi devait rencontrer lundi la secrétaire-générale adjointe de l'ONU, Louise Frechette, et mardi un groupe d'amis de la RDC. Il est attendu à Kinshasa début septembre.
