Les médiateurs se réuniront avec les rebelles jeudi

    NAIROBI
    Le médiateur pour la paix au Burundi, Nelson Mandela et le Vice-président sud-africain, Jacob Zuma, vont rencontrer jeudi à Pretoria les groupes rebelles burundais, a rapporté l'agence de presse sud-africaine SAPA. Elle a précisé qu'ils s'entretiendraient des décisions prises lundi par le sommet régional à Arusha, Tanzanie, avec les Forces pour la défense de la démocratie (FDD) et les Forces nationales de libération (FNL). Le président du Burundi, Pierre Buyoya - qui conduira la première moitié de la période de transition de trois ans - et le chef d'Etat gabonais, Omar Bongo, assisteront également aux entretiens, selon le porte-parole de M. Zuma, Lakela Kaunda.
