Adoption d'un système de communication humanitaire continu

    NAIROBI

    Un accord provisoire a été conclu samedi entre l'Agence gouvernementale pour la régulation et le
    contrôle des télécommunications (ARCT), le ministère burundais de la défense et le bureau du coordinateur humanitaire de l'ONU pour le Burundi qui permettra la mise en place d'un réseau de communications courant VHF et HF pour les 53 ONG internationales opérant au Burundi. Cet accord survient après de longues négociations et marque un pas important vers l'amélioration des opérations humanitaires conjointes et la garantie de meilleures conditions de sécurité pour les travailleurs humanitaires. Dans les deux à trois prochaines semaines, les ONG seront en mesure de
    communiquer entre elles et l'ONU, à tout moment et à partir de n'importe quel endroit du Burundi.
