Kabila remercie le peuple namibien pour son soutien

Le président de la RDC Joseph Kabila a déclaré lors de son arrivée mardi à Windhoek qu'il souhaitait "remercier le peuple namibien pour le soutien qu'il avait apporté aux Congolais" durant les trois dernières années de guerre civile en RDC, a rapporté Reuters. M. Kabila effectue une visite de deux jours en Namibie, qui portera sur le processus de paix et l'amélioration des
relations commerciales entre les deux pays. M. Kabila devrait également rencontrer des chefs d'entreprises namibiens et plusieurs ministres du gouvernement afin de renforcer les liens économiques entre les deux pays. M. Kabila se trouvait lundi à Gaborone, au Botswana, pour l'ouverture des discussions préliminaires devant conduire au dialogue intercongolais.
