Aide américaine aux réfugiés

Les Etats-Unis ont mis à disposition environ 27 millions de dollars pour aider les réfugiés, indiquait jeudi un mémorandum de la Maison Blanche au Secrétaire d'Etat.

Le montant, qui provient du Fonds d'assistance d'urgence des Etats-Unis à la migration et aux réfugiés [US Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund], devrait répondre "aux besoins imprévus urgents des réfugiés et des migrations, notamment les réfugiés, les personnes déplacés, les victimes des conflits, et d'autres personnes à risque", est-il stipulé dans le mémorandum. Les pays africains qui bénéficieront de ces fonds sont l'Erythrée, la Guinée et la Sierra Leone.
