Un député quitte la résidence de l'ambassade française

    NAIROBI
    Un député du parti de l'ancien président André Kolingba, Jacob Betsi, a quitté l'ambassade française jeudi où il s'était réfugié pendant trois mois à l'issue de la tentative de coup d'Etat en mai dernier, a rapporté la radio de République centrafricaine (RCA). Il a déclaré un peu plus tard qu'il n'avait aucune intention de quitter la RCA et qu'en qualité de député, il resterait dans son pays pour oeuvrer en faveur de ceux qui ont voté pour lui. L'ambassadeur français en poste en RCA a, de son côté, indiqué qu'il voyait sa liberté comme un " signal très clair marquant la fin de la crise en RCA ", et a exprimé le désir de voir son exemple suivi par d'autres.
