Des victimes des violences communautaires bénéficient de logements neufs

Le gouvernement de l'Etat d'Ondo a fait construire quelque 246 logements pour les victimes ijaws des violences communautaires entre les Ilajes et les Arogbo-Ijaws dans la région riveraine de l'Etat, a rapporté ce jeudi 'The Guardian'.

Le chef éminent des Ijaws, Eperetun Agagah II a indiqué mercredi à un comité gouvernemental de réhabilitation à Arogbo, le siège des Ijaws, que les deux communautés avaient appris à vivre ensemble et qu'il n'y aurait plus de violence. Le commissaire de l'Etat pour les tâches spéciales, Adebiyi Adekeye, était venu évaluer les progrès du projet de reconstruction.
