    Le Conseil de sécurité de l'ONU s'est réuni jeudi pour ce que son président Jean-David Lévitte, ambassadeur de France, a appelé une séance de "brainstorming" sur la situation au Burundi, a annoncé l'ONU. Les membres du Conseil ont été informés par trois membres du secrétariat de l'ONU, dont le secrétaire-général adjoint aux affaires politiques Kieran Prendergast, le représentant spécial du Secrétaire général pour la région des Grands Lacs Berhanu Dinka, et le secrétaire général adjoint aux opérations de maintien de la paix Jean-Marie Guehenno.
