Le vice président de la transition se rend en Afrique du Sud

Le futur vice président burundais du premier mandat de la période de transition, Domitien Ndayizeye s'est envolé jeudi pour Johannesburg en Afrique du Sud afin de rencontrer le facilitateur du conflit burundais et l'ancien président sud-africain, le président Nelson Mandela, a rapporté l'agence de presse burundaise Net Press. M. Ndayizeye est accompagné d'un
conseiller, Charles Karikurubu. Des sources, citées par Net Press, ont déclaré que le vice président devait informer M. Mandela des négociations en cours concernant la mise en place du gouvernement transitoire et d'autres institutions transitoires.
