La police renforce la sécurité dans l'Etat de Kaduna

La police dans l'Etat de Kaduna, au nord du Nigeria, a informé jeudi que la sécurité avait été renforcée par crainte d'une propagation des violences de l'Etat du Plateau, voisin, a rapporté le journal 'The Guardian'.

« Le commandement se sert de ce moyen pour rassurer les habitants quant aux mesures prises pour pallier à tout débordement de la crise de Jos dans l'Etat de Kaduna », a indiqué dans un communiqué Tam Nanakumo, commissaire adjoint de la police. Des équipes mixtes de soldats armés et de policiers patrouillent les rues de Kaduna pour empêcher toute flambée de violence, a ajouté le quotidien.
