Remise en liberté du directeur provincial de l'hebdomadaire "L'Eveil"

    NAIROBI
    L'organisation de défense de la liberté de la presse, Journaliste en danger (JED), a annoncé à Kinshasa mardi qu'Innocent Prosper Mbumba, directeur provincial de l'hebdomadaire "L'Eveil", a été relâché le jour même de son arrestation, le 30 août à Kananga, capitale de la province du Kasaï oriental en RDC. Selon JED, M. Mbumba a été détenu dans l'une des cellules du bureau
    provincial de l'Agence nationale des renseignements (ANR/Kananga) après avoir répondu à un ordre de convocation lui demandant de se présenter " immédiatement à l'ANR avec une copie de l'édition du 20 août 2001 (numéro 242) de "L'Eveil". Il a été relâché après avoir fait une déposition
    concernant les articles qu'il a écrits sur la visite du président congolais Joseph Kabila à Kananga.
