Débandade à la fin du congrès du MFDC du Sénégal


Le groupe indépendantiste Mouvement des forces démocratiques de Casamance (MFDC) a terminé son congrès de quatre jours sans arriver à un consensus concernant sa stratégie durant les pourparlers de paix avec le gouvernement sénégalais, a rapporté l'AFP. La réunion s'est achevée dans la "débandade" à Banjul, la capitale gambienne, a précisé l'AFP. La cérémonie de clôture a
été annulée et aucun communiqué final n'a été publié.

Initialement prévue en janvier dernier, la réunion de cette semaine avait été reportée à maintes reprises à cause des dissensions au sein du MFDC. Toutes les factions ont participé au congrès, notamment celle dirigée par Salif Sadio, un radical qui préfère la solution militaire comme solution au conflit qui dure depuis 19 ans. M. Sadio n'a pas pris part au congrès.
