Le CICR porte assistance aux hôpitaux

Le CICR a fourni des fournitures médicales, notamment des médicaments pour une valeur de 161 000 francs suisses par an (environ 93 000 dollars) à cinq hôpitaux à Kisidougou, Lola, Yomou et Sanoyah au sud-est de la Guinée, a indiqué jeudi le CICR.

La livraison a succédé les programmes de formation dispensés aux médecins guinéens. En avril, deux séminaires sur la chirurgie de guerre ont eu lieu à Conakry et au sud ouest de la localité de Nzerekore.. Ils ont permis à 70 chirurgiens civils et militaries d’améliorer leur formation en soignant les blessés de guerre, a rapporté le CICR NEWS.

En mai, un chirurgien et un infirmier anesthésiste du CICR ont dispensé d’autres formations pratiques à l’hôpital de Kissidougou, à la clinique médicale et chirurgicale de Sanoya et à l’hôpital militaire du camp Samory Touré à Conakry, a indiqué l’organisation humanitaire.
