إصابتان جديدتان بأنفلونزا الطيور في مصر

    أثارت الإصابتان الأخيرتان المؤكدتان بأنفلونزا الطيور في مصر مخاوف من احتمال انتشار المرض، في الوقت الذي تسعى فيه الحكومة لتحقيق الاستقرار في البلاد في أعقاب الاحتجاجات الواسعة التي بدأت قبل ثلاثة أشهر.

    وقال عبد العزيز السيد، رئيس شعبة الدواجن بالاتحاد المصري للغرف التجارية أن "تجار الدواجن ينقلون أعداداً كبيرة من الطيور بين المحافظات دون الخضوع للرقابة". وأضاف أن الوضع الأمني الهش في البلاد قد سمح بظهور العديد من محال الدواجن والمزارع في المناطق المكتظة بالسكان، مما يزيد خطر انتشار الفيروس.

    وأفادت منظمة الصحة العالمية أنه من بين حالات الإصابة بإنفلونزا آيه (إتش 5 إن 1) الـ 143 المؤكدة حتى الآن في مصر، بما في ذلك الحالتان الأخيرتان، انتهت 47 منها بالوفاة. وقال محمود عبد المجيد، مدير مستشفى صدر العباسية: "ما زلنا نتلقى أعداداً كبيرة من الناس الذين يعانون من أعراض أنفلونزا الطيور... تظهر الفحوصات أن معظمهم غير مصابين ولكن علينا أن نأخذ هذه الشكاوى على محمل الجد."
