La Belgique condamne deux Rwandais pour génocide

Une cour de justice belge a condamné mercredi deux commerçants rwandais, Etienne Nzabonimana et son demi-frère Samuel Ndashyikirwa, à respectivement 12 et 10 ans d’emprisonnement.

Les deux hommes ont été déclarés coupables d’avoir, lors du génocide de 1994, incité des milices hutues à tuer quelques 50 000 Tutsis et Hutus politiquement modérés dans la province de Kibungo, au sud-est du Rwanda.

Selon le quotidien bruxellois, le Soir, les deux frères ont été reconnus coupables d’avoir fourni aux milices « des armes, des véhicules et de la bière » et d’avoir dirigé des massacres dans les églises et marchés.
