Le greffier adjoint du Tribunal pénal international prête serment

Le nouveau greffier adjoint du Tribunal pénal international pour le Rwanda, le Malawite Lovemore Green Munlo a prêté serment jeudi lors d'une courte cérémonie au siège du tribunal, à Arusha, en Tanzanie, a rapporté Internews. Il a prêté serment devant la présidente du tribunal, la juge sud-africaine Navanethem Pillay. L'ancienne greffière adjointe, l'Américaine Beverly Kelly
, avait quitté ses fonctions à la fin de son mandat en juin 2000. M. Munlo,
51 ans, a été ministre de la justice du Malawi de septembre 1993 à mai 1994.
Il a été aussi procureur général du Malawi de 1984 à mai 1987.
