Plus de 4,2 millions de dollars pour les fournitures scolaires

Le gouvernement du Niger a réservé 4,2 millions de dollars à l'achat de fournitures scolaires, notamment des cahiers, ont rapporté les organes de presse. « Le Niger est l'un des très rares pays africains qui procure encore à ses élèves des manuels et d'autres fournitures, en dépit de la pauvreté du pays », a indiqué l'agence panafricaine d'information (PANA), qui citait les propos la semaine dernière du ministre de l'Enseignement primaire, Ibrahim Ari. Il a toutefois annoncé que le gouvernement allait bientôt demander aux parents de contribuer d'une manière significative à l'achat des fournitures scolaires.
