Norway has agreed to disburse US $6.5 million for Mozambique’s post-flood reconstruction programme, news reports said on Friday.
A statement by the Norwegian embassy in Maputo, said the money would be spent on health, energy, and agriculture projects. The aid is part of some US $452.9 million pledged at donors’ international conference held in Rome in early May.
