At least 22 die in fuel tanker blaze

    NAIROBI

    At least 22 people were killed on Saturday when a fuel tanker smashed into a market in southwestern Nigeria and burst into flames, AFP, said citing press reports. The driver of the tanker lost control and ran into the main market at the Ibillo community, the `Vanguard' reported. The market was immediately engulfed in flames and its occupants burnt alive. Many others were injured and taken to nearby hospitals. Accidents of this type occur regularly in Nigeria.
