Four soldiers die in attack

    Four members of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) were killed at the weekend and three others injured in separate attacks in Likuwa in southern Angola in the ongoing war between FAA and UNITA rebels, media reports said.
    One victim, Eduardo Intja, who sustained a leg injury while on patrol, told reporters at Rundu hospital in northern Namibia that more FAA members were maimed by exploding devices planted by UNITA rebels who were reportedly on the run from government forces.

    According to Intja, the incident in which he and two colleagues were injured happened in the morning when the rebels threw bombs at their camp, instantly killing four government soldiers, the reports added.
