M.Obasanjo cherche l'établissement d'une agence nationale du SIDA

Le président du Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo a adressé mercredi une note à
l'Assemblée Nationale en vue de l'établissement d'une Agence Nationale pour la Prévention et le
Contrôle du Sida ( ANPCS), ont informé les agences d'information. Le journal 'The Guardian' a indiqué que
l'ANPCS coordonnerait et faciliterait le contrôle et la prévention du VIH/SIDA, de la tuberculose et
d'autres maladies. Plus de cinq pour cent de la population de 15 à 49 ans vit avec le VIH/SIDA, selon le rapport mondial 2001 du PNUD.
