    In a related development, General Siphiwe Nyanda, Chief of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) Said after talks with his Namibian counterparts he did not believe the DRC conflict involving seven African nations could be won on the battlefield. He reiterated that South Africa remained opposed to intervention in the DRC and said his visit to Namibia had been to discuss long-standing bilateral issues.
