Tanzanian peace activists visit

A delegation of five Tanzanian parliamentarians, members of the Amani Forum (a peace group) are due to end their five-day visit to Burundi on Thursday after holding talks with their Burundi colleagues on peaceful coexistence between their two peoples, the Burundi news agency, ABP, reported. Burundi's second deputy speaker of the transitional national assembly, Augustin Nzojibwami, has asked the Tanzania delegation to help opposing forces in Burundi reach a cease-fire. The forum says given the large number of Burundi refugees in Tanzania, they must be involved in the search for peace, ABP reported.
