DRC Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Ndombasi Yerodia held talks in Kinshasa on Monday with a delegation from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) as part of preparations for the heads of state summit scheduled to be held in the Zambian capital, Lusaka, on 26 June, news agencies reported. State television said the 13-member delegation, representing a committee formed under the Lusaka peace process to look into the security concerns of the DRC and its neighbours, had already visited Goma, Kampala, Kigali and Bujumbura where it had held talks with the various belligerents. The television station quoted a foreign ministry statement as saying heads of state at the Lusaka summit would be invited to sign a document prepared by SADC and the OAU to end the conflict.
