Government offers Rwanda prison facilities

    BUJUMBURA
    The Zambian government has offered to provide prison facilities for Rwandan convicts of the 1994 genocide, media reports said on Monday. The 'Times of Zambia' reported that Lusaka was about to sign an agreement with the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda which would make it the second nation after Mali to provide prison facilities. It added that the tribunal based in Arusha, Tanzania, was negotiating similar facilities with Madagascar and Benin.
