Swaziland's hospitals could begin dispensing HIV/AIDS drugs within a month, Pan African News Agency (PANA) reported on Wednesday.
However, Dr Derrick Von Wisell, director of the National Emergency Response Council on HIV/AIDS (NERCHA), said the final mechanism of how to make the drugs easily accessible was still being decided.
Von Wisell said the drugs would be provided courtesy of a recent US $63 million Global AIDS Fund grant.
Meanwhile, about 500 people living with HIV/AIDS were recently forced to leave the Mbabane government hospital due to lack of doctors.
