WFP distributes food to returnees

    NAIROBI

    WFP in April distributed a return package and food to 1,086 Burundian refugees returning from Tanzania, WFP said in its weekly emergency update. The agency supplied 2,306 refugees who returned from the DRC with 39 tons of food, in collaboration with the German technical assistance programme (GTZ). It also dispatched 173 mt of food to 45 projects benefiting 13,801 vulnerable people.
