At least four people were killed by a flood that resulted from heavy rain on Monday in Oke-Odo, Lagos State, ‘The Vanguard’ newspaper reported. The victims, who included a woman and her baby, were trying to cross a gutter filled with flood water when high currents swept them away, the daily reported eyewitnesses as saying. Other people sustained injuries during the storm and several market stalls were destroyed, it said.
