Intimidation at an industrial plant

    JOHANNESBURG

    News reports said a gang of about 20 ZANU-PF supporters armed with whips and sticks rampaged through a workers’ compound at an industrial plant, beating anyone who refused to attend a government rally.

    Workers said the police were present but took no action.
