The Namibian government says that it plans to cut spending on drought relief and food aid because of the lack of money, news reports said. According to reports the cut backs will most likely affect an estimated 347,287 Namibians who were currently receiving food aid. The proposed cut backs would also affect the school feeding scheme for children under the age of six.
