Meanwhile, Reuters reported on Wednesday that up to 4,000 people
displaced by heavy fighting in northern Angola are making their way to the city of Uige.
"Radio Ecclesia' reported on Tuesday that Uige was already home to thousands of displaced people in need of food and shelter. "Around 6,000 newly displaced are sleeping in the streets... Conditions don't exist, at the moment, to house these new displaced people," Radio Ecclesia said.
