Angolan and DRC provincial governors met on Friday to discuss security along their common border and the issue of Angolan refugees in the DRC. According to an Angolan media report, monitored by the BBC, the Angolan delegation to the two day meeting in the border town of Soyo included the governors of Zaire and Cabinda provinces. The report said over 60,000 Angolan refugees have fled the northern towns of Maquela do Zombo, M'Banza Congo and Kimba since the resumption of civil war in
December.
