The Right to Stay - Fighting slum evictions in Kenya

"The Right to Stay" IRIN
In the Mukuru slum, one of the biggest in Nairobi, a group of residents has decided to go to court to demand the right to the land on which they live and an end to forced evictions. The case may have far-reaching implications in a city where 60 percent of the population lives in slums.
