Refugees to resettle in Sweden

Under its resettlement programme, UNHCR recently sent 27 Sierra Leoneans on commercial flights from Guinea to Sweden. This group was the second batch Sweden had accepted for resettlement and brought the total to 105. Those resettled are vulnerable people and families, including many households headed by women. UNHCR said they included victims of attacks, torture and rape “who cannot return to their country”.
