New German aid

    ABIDJAN
    The German government is to give Mozambique an estimated US $21.2 million to support the rehabilitation of roads, energy and telecommunications in the central provinces of Zambezia and Sofala and the northern Nampula province, news reports said on Monday. Reports said that part of the money would be earmarked for rehabilitating the 110 KV electricity transmission line between Nampula city and the port of Nacala.
