Ghana donates to flood relief

Ghana of Friday reportedly flew 300 bags of rice, 300 bags of maize, 30 bales of used clothing and 1,000 blankets to help Mozambican flood victims.

Quoting Ghana’s foreign minister, PANA said the donation is “an expression of solidarity from the people and government of Ghana to their brothers and sisters in Mozambique in their moments of pain and sorrow”.

The items, said the reports, were flown to Mozambique aboard a cargo aircraft accompanied by a five-member delegation led by a member of Ghana’s parliament.
