More food aid for flood ravaged areas

    JOHANNESBURG
    Areas of Mozambique destroyed by floods earlier this year, will receive an estimated 22,625 mt of food aid over the next three years, media reports said on Friday. The UN World Food Programme (WFP) said that the food valued at about US $12 million would be distributed through a food for work programme. The programmes will focus on 24 districts in the central and southern parts of the country.
