Military food rations which were exported to Uganda from South Africa and originally thought to be "unfit for consumption", have been found to be in an acceptable condition, media reports said on Monday.
According to the reports, a representative of the South African High Commissioner who had joined the inspection team, said that he was satisfied with the goods. The rations were originally shipped to Uganda on 9 June and arrived on 14 July. Although the shipment was initially accepted, allegations later surfaced that the rations were not fit for human consumption.
