UEMOA to Meet On Food Security

    ABIDJAN
    Agriculture ministers from the Union economique et monetaire ouest-africaine (UEMOA) are to meet on 2 August in Ouagadougou to adopt a regional programme for food security, PANA reported this week. Eight countries with a combined population of about 70 million make up UEMOA - Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo.
