The Zambia National Oil Company (ZNOC) has announced a 15 percent fuel price increase of all petroleum products. 'The Post' newspaper reported that the increase went into effect at the weekend. It quoted ZNOC acting chief executive, Dennis Mumba, as saying the increase had been necessitated world crude prices and by the continued depreciation of the kwacha which had been devalued by 23 percent since the last fuel price increase in November.
