En Bref - Les 20 villes les plus vulnérables aux tempêtes et montée des eaux

Selon un nouveau rapport sur le changement climatique, publié cette fois-ci par la cellule de réflexion CGD, voici les 20 villes dans lesquelles les populations seront le plus exposées au risque de montée du niveau de la mer et à l’émergence de tempêtes, dans le monde en développement.

Les projections établies par le rapport se fondent sur :

- Une hausse d’un mètre du niveau de la mer
- Une augmentation de 10 pour cent dans l’intensité des tempêtes les plus fortes enregistrées sur 100 ans
- Des estimations de croissance des populations établies par les Nations Unies.
