Aide canadienne dans la lutte contre le Sida

Le Canada a accepté vendredi de débourser 1,45 million de francs CFA (2 millions de dollars) pour permettre au Sénégal de mettre en œuvre la troisième phase de son programme sur le VIH/Sida, qui se prolongera de 2001 à 2006, a rapporté le journal 'Sud Quotidien'. Le Sénégal est l'un des huit pays ouest-africains bénéficiant d'une aide canadienne dans la lutte contre la pandémie dans le cadre d'un projet régional baptisé 'Appui à la lutte contre le Sida en Afrique de l'Ouest'.
