Zimbabwe’s gay movement has accused President Robert Mugabe’s of barring homosexuals from participating in the government’s controversial constitutional review process, DPA reported on Monday. Keith Goddard, programme manager of Gays and Lesbians of Zimbabwe (GALZ), said the organisation had delivered a letter to the government-appointed constitutional reform commission on 31 March but had received no reply. “It’s clear, there is no attempt in this commission to include the rights of minorities,” Goddard said. Mugabe on Monday swore in the last 70 appointees to the 400-member commission.
