Meeting for belligerents in DRC conflict underway

    NAIROBI

    Meanwhile, a meeting of high-level officials from countries involved in the Congo war is underway in Lusaka, Zambia, the Associated Press reported on Wednesday. The talks which opened on Wednesday, aim at reviewing the progress of the ceasefire agreement. According to the chairman of the committee overseeing the implementation of the agreement, Patrick Mazimhaka, the defence and foreign ministers are to discuss disarmament and the disengagement of forces.
