Delegation inspects refugee health centres

An Iranian delegation arrived in Mashhad, the capital of Afghanistan’s northeastern Khorasan Province, at the weekend to inspect health centres for Afghan refugees. The official Iranian News Agency, IRNA, said the delegation included the Iranian deputy health minister and foreign diplomats and UN officials based in Tehran. Mashhad is home to five of Afghanistan’s 11 health centres designed to educate Afghan refugees on health issues. Some 400,000 Afghan refugees are currently living in Khorasan province.
