Actress Mia Farrow is to visit Nigeria as a United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) special representative for polio to participate in a national immunisation programme between 15-20 January, a UNICEF statement said.
“She will participate with hundreds of thousands of health professionals and volunteers as they prepare to immunise every single Nigerian under age five - an estimated 37 million children,” the statement by UNICEF spokeswoman Madeline Eisner said.
