Polio campaign “went well”

    NAIROBI

    A national polio vaccination campaign conducted between 11-13 November “went well” and preliminary results are expected next week, a UNICEF official told IRIN on Wednesday. “No particular problems were reported,” the official said. The campaign aimed to immunise some 643,000 children under five years of age. The government-led campaign was supported by UNICEF, WHO, Rotary International and Japan.
