Diesel shortage continues

    Diesel supplies in Zimbabwe still remain critical nationwide, two weeks after the International Petroleum Company of Kuwait agreed to extend a US $45 million credit facility to Zimbabwe, news reports said on Wednesday.

    Reports said that queues for diesel at fuel stations were getting longer as motorists waited for available supplies, six days after the National Oil Company of Zimbabwe hiked fuel prices. Tom Walters, an oil industry spokesman, was quoted as saying that while the petrol supplies were stable, there were limited imports of diesel.
